The Ancient Enoch Calendar Based on Qumran Dead Sea Scroll

The discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls was one of the greatest archaeological finds of all time. Found in 11 caves at Qumran (near the Dead Sea) from 1947 to 1956, and likely written by the Essenes, a Jewish sect in existence before and during the time of Yahushua (J-sus), the Scrolls have transformed our understanding of the Hebrew Bible, early Judaism, and the origins of Christianity. At least 972 scrolls were discovered along with some 85,000 fragments. They are dated between 250BC and 68AD. The scrolls are divided into two basic categories: 225 biblical scrolls and 747 non-biblical scrolls. The non-biblical scrolls are further divided into: Apocryphal scrolls, Sectarian scrolls, and Pseudepigraphic scrolls.

The Biblical scrolls contain multiple copies of the Hebrew Bible (Books of the Old Testament) and are the oldest complete texts of the Hebrew Bible in existence. Among the biblical scrolls are two books most are not familiar with, The Book of Jubilees and the Book of Enoch. Jubilees contains a significant amount of information about the Appointed Times of YHWH and Enoch contains the Solar Calendar. As part of the Sectarian scrolls, is the Calendar Scroll, which contains evidence of the calendar the Qumran community kept, it is the same Solar Calendar as prescribed in Enoch. What is interesting is that of the multiple biblical texts found there were more copies found of Jubilees and Enoch, 21 copies of the Book of Jubilees and 25 copies of the Book of Enoch, more than the copies of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Jeremiah and the other prophets (expect Isaiah), yet neither of these books made it into the Hebrew Bible or Christian Old Testament. The Qumran community who copied these scrolls obviously saw the significance of these two books.

A limestone sundial was discovered at Qumran showing physical evidence that the community were interested in determining the day of the Vernal Equinox. It was designed to measure the sun during the year rather than during the day. After studying it, two researchers concluded “It allows the determination of the cardinal points and fixing a calendar whose seasons are as near as possible to the signs of sun, moon and stars. There is strong supporting evidence that the Qumran calendar was indeed calculated with a method involving actual measuring when the sun arose in the east, as directed by the Book of Enoch.”

The East Gate into the temple use to be called the Sun Gate or Sunrise Gate. The Sun Gate was used to record the vernal and autumnal equinoxes. Before the exile into Babylon it was held to be of imperative necessity that on two days of the year the sun shone directly through the Eastern Gate and through all the Eastern Gates of the Temple arranged in a line, directly into the very heart of the Temple proper. The Eastern Gate also called the Sun Gate served not only to check the equinoxes, when the sun rises exactly in the east, but the solstices as well: a device on the Eastern Gate was designed to reflect the first rays of the sun on the summer and winter solstices, when the sun rises in the southeast and the northeast respectively.” [Extracted from “Worlds in Collision” by Immanuel Veikovsky]. Determining the Equinoxes was important for determining when the year would begin. You need to know the Vernal Equinox to determine the 1st day of the Solar Calendar and YHWH had included this in the construction of his temple in the time of King David and Solomon – highlighting the significance of the Zadok Solar Calendar.

Zadok (meaning “Righteous”) was a priest descended from Eleazar the son of Aaron which is the anointed line from which all High Priests must descend. The High Priest Zadok aided King David during the revolt of his son Absalom, and was instrumental in bringing King Solomon to the throne. After Solomon had The First Temple in Jerusalem constructed, Zadok was the first High Priest to serve in The Temple of Solomon. In 1 Chronicles 28:19 King David says to his son, Solomon, All this is in writing, as YHWH, with his hand on me, has given me good sense in working out these detailed plans.” King David was passing on his instructions to Solomon, instructions given to him by the hand of YHWH, to build the Temple as YHWH had prescribed. The workings of the Zadok Solar Calendar are evident in the construction of YHWH’s temple because King David and his High Priest, Zadok, kept the Solar Calendar.

 “David the son of Jesse was wise and shone like the light of the sun, a scribe and a man of discernment, blameless in all his ways before YHWH and humankind. YHWH gave him a brilliant and discerning spirit, so that he wrote: psalms, three thousand six hundred songs to sing before the alter accompanying the daily perpetual burnt offering for all the days of the year three hundred and sixty-four songs, for the Sabbath offerings fifty-two songs, for the new month offerings, the festival days and the Day of Atonement were thirty songs”. This extract found in the Psalms Scroll (from the Dead Sea Scrolls) shows that King David wrote:

  • 364 psalms for each day of the year

  • 52 songs for each weekly Sabbath

  • 30 songs for the Festival Days;

  • The Festival Days are Pesach/Passover (1 day) ,

  • Matzah/ Unleavened Bread (7 days),

  • First Fruits of Barley (1 day), Shavuot/ First Fruits of Wheat (1 day),

  • First Fruits of New Wine (1 day),

  • First Fruits of Olive Oil (1 day),

  • Festival of Wood Offering (5 days),

  • Yom Kippur (1 day),

  • Sukkot (8 days) and 

  • New Month days (4 days, 1st of the Month beginning of each quarter, these Days are called Days of Remembrance).

With the discerning spirit YHWH gave him, David wrote psalms to correspond to the Zadok Solar Calendar’s 364 day, 52 week year and YHWH’s moedim.

The Messiah and his lineage comes from The House of Zadok (the High Priest to King David). Those of the line of Zadok are called Zadokites or Zadok Priests and are the only ones qualified to serve in the office of High Priest over Israel. This is paramount because if Yahushua was to be The Eternal High Priest, and was to be qualified to offer the final sacrifice of The Passover Lamb, he must have been from The House of Zadok to be the Messiah.

In the Gospel accounts, Yahushua tells his disciples to enter the city and follow the man with the water pitcher to a home where the disciples prepare the Passover meal in the upper room. In those days men didn’t carry water that was the job of a woman, however, the only men that did carry water were Zadok Priests. The man Yahushua told the disciples to follow, carrying the water pitcher, was a Zadok Priest and the home was in the Zadok Priest village on Mt Zion.

In the time of Yahushua, the Pharisees and Sadducees followed the Greek Lunar Calendar, the lunar calendar is an Ancient Greek Calendar called the Metonic cycle.  It was founded by a Greek Astronomer called Meton of Athens (5th century BC), and forced on the Israelite’s in the time of the Maccabees by Antiochus IV Epiphanes. In the year of Yahushua’s death, 30AD, there was one day between the two calendars. The Zadok Solar Calendar was one day ahead of the lunar calendar.

In the New Testament we read that Yahushua was arrested and crucified on the day of Passover, yet the night before he is crucified he is partaking of the Passover meal with his disciples. Why would he be partaking of it a day early? If Yahushua was without sin, why would He disobey YHWH’s law and celebrate a moedim on the wrong day? He wouldn’t have.  Yahushua was arrested and crucified on the 14th day of Aviv on the lunar calendar but it was the 15th day of Aviv, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, on the Zadok Solar Calendar. He had observed the Passover the evening prior to his arrest because that was the 14th of Aviv (Passover) on the Zadok Solar Calendar, the calendar He was following. He then spends three days and three nights in the grave and rises on the weekly Sabbath. On the Zadok Solar Calendar the Weekly Sabbath is three days and three nights after the 15th of Aviv, the day Yahushua was crucified. The Zadok Solar Calendar fits perfectly to these time frames and confirms the testimony of the Gospels; Yahushua was keeping this calendar to fulfill his coming as the Messiah.

The destruction of the Temple in 70AD was the turning point or upheaval from the Zadok Priesthood who adhered to the Solar Calendar, with the Jewish people dispersed from Jerusalem, the Greek Lunar Calendar took prominence and has remained with Rabbinical Judaism to this day. The Rabbinical lunar year is about eleven days shorter than the solar year and uses the 19-year Metonic cycle to bring it into line with the solar year, with the addition of an intercalary month every two or three years, for a total of seven times per 19 years. Even with this intercalation, the average Rabbinical calendar year is longer by about 6 minutes and 40 seconds than the current mean tropical year, so that every 216 years the Rabbinical calendar will fall a day behind the current mean solar year; and about every 231 years it will fall a day behind the Gregorian (Western) calendar year.

The modern 7 day Sunday-Saturday week, is nothing more than a copy and paste Photoshop job, by the rabbinical Jewish leaders, in partnership with the Bishop of Rome. Monday was followed up by what was once Saturday in 1752. Saturday the 14th became Tuesday the 14th. People went to bed on September 2, 1752, and woke up on September 14 because of The Calendar (New Style) Act of 1750. 11 days just disappeared. The alleged original 7 day week was destroyed and yet people still think Saturday today remains an unbroken 7 day cycle and that Saturday today always was the Sabbath. As Isaiah 29:15 says, “Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from YHWH, who do their work in darkness and think “who will see us, who will know?”

In addition to changes to the calendar, scripture has been changed. One of the significant, but subtle, changes is in the verses in Genesis 1:14-16,Let there be two great lights”. The moon is not a light; it reflects the light of the sun. The “let there be is a singular verb form ‘yehi’, which has been changed to a plural verb. The verse should read “Let there be a great light”. This parallels with the book of Jubilees.  Jubilees 2:9 “And YHWH appointed the sun to be a great sign on the earth for days and for Sabbaths and for months and for Feasts and for years and for Sabbaths of years and for Jubilees and for all seasons of the years”. Jubilees 6:36-37 “For there will be those who will assuredly make observations of the moon -how (it) disturbs the seasons and comes in from year to year ten days too soon. For this reason the years will come upon them when they will disturb (the order), and make an abominable (day) the day of testimony, and an unclean day a Feast day, and they will confound all the days, the Holy with the Unclean, and the Unclean day with the Holy; for they will go wrong as to the Months and Sabbaths and Feasts and Jubilees”.

Qumranic version of Jubilees—He appointed the sun as a great sign above the earth for days, for Sabbaths, for months, for appointed times, for years, for the weeks of years, for Jubilees and for all the cycles of the years.
While the parallel text in Genesis uses the plural (in all textual witnesses) “Let there be lights…..; they shall serve as signs for the set times”. The Hebrew original however presents a linguistic difficulty of possible significance– the singular verbal form “yehi” translated here as “let there be” clashing with the plural “lights” raises questions as to the traditional text, as already noted by Onkelos (the Aramaic translator of the Pentateuch), who changed the verb to the plural in his Aramaic translation.
The community Rule, too, refers only to the “greater light” in connection with calculations of the festivals and other appointed times.

YHWH is an agricultural Elohim and the Zadok Solar Calendar is an agricultural calendar. The lunar calendar is a religious calendar. The rabbinic’s of today use the Gregorian solar calendar for their Sabbaths and the lunar calendar for the moedim. Is this scriptural?

Who has Believed our Message?

And to whom has the Arm of Yahuah been revealed? Isaiah 53:1

Who has believed our message and to whom has Yahuah’s Calendar been revealed?

The Zadokite Priesthood had to flee the Temple due to the invasion by Antiochus IV Epiphanies. They took with them the sacred scrolls and literature. They took with them the knowledge of Yahuah’s Calendar. The Zadokite Priesthood lived out in the wilderness. Later Onias IV (a Zadokite High Priest) had gone with, a number of those who remained loyal to his father’s memory to Egypt, where he obtained permission from the Egyptian king to rebuild a disused Temple at *Leontopolis (On) and to appoint “Priests of his own race” to serve in it. This Zadokite Priesthood presided over the Temple at Leontopolis until it was closed by Vespasian in 73 C.E.

Isaiah 19: 18-21, is a prophecy relating to Onias lV serving Yahuah in Egypt, called the “City of Destruction” in our Scriptures, but in the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Septuagint it is called the “City of the Sun” (that is Heliopolis). The reputation which the Temple of Onias enjoyed is indicated by the fact that the Septuagint, written in the Jewish community of Alexandria, changes the phrase “City of Destruction” to “City of Righteousness.” Also a village on Mount Zion was inhabited by the Zadokites and Yahushua had His Last Passover in a Zadokite home on Mt Zion.

Since the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947, we now have a better understanding of the history from 180BC to maybe 130AD. Because of the Dead Sea Scrolls we know that Yahuah’s Priests, the Zadokites kept a Solar Calendar. The Zealots who were living on the top of Masada for 5 years throughout the time of the destruction of the Jerusalem Temple, 70 AD, also kept the same Solar calendar, as they had identical Scrolls, that where found in the Qumran caves.

The Temple cult being the Pharisees and Sadducee’s. They rejected the lunar calendar then governing the Temple in Jerusalem and instead upheld the superiority of a calendar based on the Solar year, demanding that the regular succession of Sabbaths and Festivals be derived from that Calendar. Up until the destruction of the second Temple, they fought for the concept of the Covenant and the Festival of Oaths or Covenants, also known as the Festival of Weeks (Shavuot), for every dimension of the sacred service that explicitly involved any aspect of cycle, number, date, fixed time, and counting, thus reflecting the regularity of the cosmic order, they stressed observance of the laws of purity and the rules of the Temple service associated with the perception of sacred place; and insisted on the superior right of the Zadokite priests to settle any question to Temple rituals and matters of purity and impurity, by virtue of their divine election to serve in the Temple and their eternal, sacred, heaven-granted authority.
In much of the Zadokite priestly struggle over questions relating to the calendar, the festivals and the administration of Temple affairs , they relied on traditions of angelic origin found in Enoch, Jubilees, the Rule Scroll and the Songs of the Sabbath Sacrifice.. They saw themselves as a congregation or community revolving, so they believed, in an angelic and priestly oneness or togetherness, beyond time, from which derived the authority and legitimacy of their traditions, laws and sacred service: they referred to themselves as a community of Yahad.
The angels were witnesses to the Covenant, guardians of the Calendar of Sabbaths and Festivals and partners in sacred rites that conformed to the cyclic Solar Calendar, with its subdivision into quarters (seasons) and Sabbaths (weeks).”

This Calendar BEGINS EVERY YEAR Following THE VERNAL EQUINOX (Israel) being identified: The next day of the Equinox is DAY ONE of the 364 day year of divine appointments.
The 12 months of the year are broken into 4 quarters, each quarter being 30 days, 30 days and 31 days. And each quarter has 13 Weekly Sabbaths.

To find the Weekly Sabbath, and this rule only applies to finding the Weekly Sabbath, Day One (the day after the Vernal Equinox being identified) becomes day 4 of the week and you count 5,6,7. The 7th day of this count is the Weekly Sabbath for the 364 days.
Example, As for this year 2017, the 21st of March was the Vernal Equinox (Israel). The 22nd of March is DAY ONE of the Calendar count for the 364 days of the Year. To find the Weekly Sabbath, Day ONE becomes day 4of the week, then 5, 6, and 7. The 7 falling on the 25th of March a Saturday. So Saturday is the Weekly Sabbath for this complete year of the Solar Calendar.

Now we can plot Yahuah’s Moedim.

Passover is on the 14th of the 1st month (Aviv)
Unleavened Bread is from the 15th to the 21st of the 1st month.
First Fruits of Barley is on the 26th of the 1st month, a 50 day count to–
First Fruits of Wheat (Shavuot) , the 15th of the 3rd month, a 50 day count to–
First Fruits of Wine, the 3rd of the 5th month, a 50 day count to—
First Fruits of Oil, the 22nd of the 6th month
Wood Offerings is from the 23rd to the 28th day. The 28th day is a Weekly Sabbath
The Day of Trumpets is on the first day of the 7th month
The Day of Atonement begins at sunset on the 9th day of the 7th month and finishes at sunset on the10th day. The weekly Sabbath falling on the 11th.
The Feast of Tabernacles, is from the 15th day to the 21st day of the 7th month, and the 8th day on the 22nd.
There are also 4 days of Remembrance these are on the 1st of Aviv, the 1st of the 4th month, the 1st of the 7th month and the 1st of the 10th month.

This Zadokite Solar Calendar is Yahuah’s Calendar,a Calendar of Sacred Time, Sacred Place and Sacred Rituals.
Every Weekly Sabbath, a Sabbath Sacrifice Song was sung, these were rotated around the 4 quarters in the year.
The last 4 days of the year and the first 4 days of the next year is called THE CREATION WEEK.
All of the Moedim perfectly fit the Ancient Hebrew Betrothal and Marriage customs.
The days begin at sunrise. The First Fruits of Barley is outside of the Unleavened Bread Week.

All the dates above are exactly taken from the Dead Sea Scrolls.

 It says in the Dead Sea Scrolls that Yahuah will confirm His Appointments and He has and keeps doing so, as each Moedim and Weekly Sabbath comes.
We do not add to or subtract from the Weekly Sabbaths and Moedim as above.

Yahuah’s Calendar is more than a Calendar it is a relationship with our Heavenly Father. With each Divine Appointment, He reveals more of Himself and His kingdom to us.

Enoch Calendar Edited on 2013 Feb 2nd

The Enoch Calender is shown in the 1st Book Of Enoch and was given by the Angel Uriel (YahEl), and is the original Priestly Calendar that was used in the Torah. The Enoch Calendar is a 12-Month Solar Calendar having 364 Days Only, and it was used by the antediluvian patriarchs and by Noah, Abraham, and Jacob.It was taught to Moses by the Angel Yah and it continued in effect through the 2nd Temple period under Ezra and Nehemiah. It was the official Hebrew calendar until the 2nd Century BCE, when King Antiochus IV Epiphanes ended the use of the Enoch Calendar and forced the Hebrew people (sons of Eber/Heber) to observe the Lunar Calendar.

The New Moon Calendar was the official calendar of the Greeks, and when “Alexander the Great” conquered the middle east at the end of the 4th century BCE, the Lunar Calendar was introduced and was gradually accepted by most of the people, except for the Hebrew people. In 172, King Antiochus appointed Menelaus, as Jerusalem’s High Priest, to introduce the Greek way of educating the young people, and to completely Hellenize the Hebrew people. He also sent a Senator from Athens to give the Hebrew people an ultimatum, to forsake the Laws of their Aloahiym Yah and follow the Kings orders or to be put to death, so most of the Hebrew people followed the Kings orders to save their families, and many were put to death. King Antiochus forced the Hebrew people to celebrate the “Birthday of the Month,” every month, at the time of the moon’s first visibility.

Hephaistio of Thebes was an astrologer in the 5th Century CE, who compiled the historical Hellenistic Astrology Records in his research work called “Apotelesmatics.” Hephaistio quotes King Antiochus saying that the New Moon is the time when the “Moon is Born” and is the “Birthday of the Month:”

But Antiochus of Athens says also that this method has a certain truth to it. “Observe,” he says “On a given day that the Moon is Born” and to this number add 180 and always deduct 29 from the Birthday [γενέθλιον] of the Month.

In 167 BCE, when King Antiochus returned to Jerusalem after his campaign in Egypt, he immediately banned the Hebrew religion and the Enoch Calendar, and prohibited all religious practices. He dedicated the Temple in Jerusalem to Zeus, the Lord of Heaven (Baal Shamen)and ordered the people to worship Zeus. Forty Five days later, he began sacrificing swine and making abominable offerings on the altar, and this began the Maccabean revolt (1.Maccabees Chapter 1 and2.Maccabees Chapters 4, 6 and 7):

2 Maccabees 6:7 On the Monthly Birthday Celebration, the king had the Jews taken, under bitter constraint, to partake of the sacrifices; and when the feast of Dionysus came, they were forced to walk in the procession in honor of Dionysus, wearing wreaths of ivy.

1 Maccabees 1:41-51 Then the king wrote to his whole kingdom that all should be one people, 42 and that each should give up his customs. 43 All the Gentiles accepted the command of the king. Many even from Israel gladly adopted his religion; they sacrificed to idols and profaned the sabbath. 44 And the king sent letters by messengers to Jerusalem and the cities of Judah; he directed them to follow customs strange to the land, 45 to forbid burnt offerings and sacrifices and drink offerings in the sanctuary, to profane sabbaths and feasts, 46 to defile the sanctuary and the priests, 47 to build altars and sacred precincts and shrines for idols, to sacrifice swine and unclean animals, 48 and to leave their sons uncircumcised. They were to make themselves abominable by everything unclean and profane, 49 so that they should forget the law and change all the ordinances. 50 “And whoever does not obey the command of the king shall die.” 51 In such words he wrote to his whole kingdom. And he appointed inspectors over all the people and commanded the cities of Judah to offer sacrifice, city by city.

King Antiochus died 1,335 days after he dedicated the Temple to Zeus and 1,290 days after he sacrificed swine on Yah’s Altar. It happened exactly as Daniel prophesied and in exactly 350 years as prophesied. Daniel prophesied in 521 BCE and King Antiochus put in effect his Hellenizing policies in 171 BCE. The Jubilee Timing is 350 years, (Time = 100, Times = 200, ½ Time = 50), or 7 Jubilees:

Daniel 12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and swore by him that lives for ever, that it shall be for a time, times, and an half, when he shall have accomplished to shatter the power of the holy people, and put an end to it.

Daniel 12:11-13 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed is he that waits and comes to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

The Book of Jubilees was written during this time and it preserved the Enoch Calendar. It warned the Hellenistic Jews to guard themselves against keeping the Athenian Calendar that began the year on the first New Moon after the Summer Solstice. The writers of the Book of Jubilees feared that if the Hebrew people observed King Antiochus’ monthly New Moon Festival Day that begins the Greek Months, that they would forget the Enoch Calendar and the Last Day of the Last Month (which connect with the Great Gate transitional day to the Equinox), that sets the first day of the first year and thereafter,  the weekly Sabbath, the 1st Day of the Month, and the Annual Feast Days on Fixed Days every year.

Jubilees 6:34-38 And all the children of Israel will forget and will not find the path of the years, and will forget the Months, and Seasons, and Sabbaths and they will go wrong as to all the order of the years. For I know and from henceforth will I declare it unto thee, and it is not of my own devising; for the book (lies) written before me, and on the heavenly tablets the division of days is ordained, lest they forget the feasts of the covenant and walk according to the feasts of the Gentiles after their error and after their ignorance. For there will be those who will assuredly “MAKE OBSERVATIONS OF THE MOON −how (it) DISTURBS THE SEASONS and comes in from year to year ten days too soon.

For this reason the years will come upon them when they will Disturb (the order), and make an Abominable (Day) the Day of Testimony, and an Unclean Day a Feast Day, and they will confound all the days, the holy with the unclean, and the unclean day with the holy; for THEY WILL GO WRONG AS TO THE MONTHS AND SABBATHS AND FEASTS AND JUBILEES. For this reason I command and testify to thee that thou mayst testify to them; for after thy death thy children will disturb (them), so that they will not make the year Three Hundred and Sixty−Four Days Only, and for this reason they will go Wrong as to the Months and Seasons and Sabbaths and Festivals, and they will eat all kinds of blood with all kinds of flesh.

The Birthday of the Moon Festival was observed by most of the Hebrew people because they feared King Antiochus, and this tradition continued until 359 CE, when Hillel II introduced the fixed calculated New Moon Calendar that is based on the conjunction of the earth, moon, and sun.  This Lunar Calendar is used by Jews and others to this day, to determine the 1st Day of the Month, and the Annual Feast Days.  However, the term “New Moon” (yareach chadash יָרֵחַ חָדָשׁ) is Not Written anywhere in the Hebrew Scriptures. The Scriptures only use the word “month” (chodesh חֹדֶשׁ) and it pertains to a Solar Month. The translators mixed up a few of the Hebrew words due to vowel point errors, like CHODESH חֹדֶשׁ which means either “month/s” or “new month” and the word CHADASH חָדָשׁ which means “New.” They also confused the word YERACH יֶרַח which means “Month,” as in a “Complete Month,” with the word YAREACH יָרֵחַ which means “Moon,” and this is where the translation error of New Moon came into the various books and bibles, as it was commonly known that the Hebrew people observed the New Moon and kept a New Moon Festival every month. However, observing the New Moon is not commanded in the Torah, nor is the term “New Moon” ever mentioned in the whole Tanach when you look at the original Hebrew text, and the word moon (yareach) is only mentioned THREE times in the Torah, of which two times are warnings not to worship or serve the moon:

Deuteronomy 4:15-19  Take therefore good heed to yourselves; for you saw no manner of form on the day that YHWH spoke to you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire. 16 Lest you corrupt yourselves, and make yourself an engraved image in the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female, 17 the likeness of any animal that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged bird that flies in the sky, 18 the likeness of anything that creeps on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the water under the earth; 19 and lest you lift up your eyes to the sky, and when you see the sun and the Moon and the stars, even all the host of the sky, and be drawn away to worship and serve them, which YHWH your Aloahiym has allotted to all the peoples under the whole sky.

Deuteronomy 17:2-5 If there be found in the midst of you, within any of your gates which YHWH your Aloahiym gives you, man or woman, who does that which is evil in the sight of YHWH your Aloahiym, in transgressing his covenant, 3 and has gone and served other gods, and worshiped them, or the sun, or the Moon, or any of the host of the sky, which I have Not commanded; 4 and it be told you, and you have heard of it, then shall you inquire diligently; and, behold, if it be true, and the thing certain that such abomination is done in Israel, 5 then shall you bring forth that man or that woman, who has done this evil thing, to your gates, and that man or the woman you shall stone to death with stones.

Genesis 37:9 He dreamed yet another dream, and told it to his brothers, and said, “Behold, I have dreamed yet another dream: and behold, the sun and the Moon and eleven stars bowed down to me.”

Later, when the Hebrew people adopted the Julian Calendar in 45 BCE, the 7 Day Week continued as usual and the Names of the Week Days remained the same, so the Hebrew people felt that the calendar changes would not affect them. However, the extra Day that was added, for a 365 Day Year, totally disrupted the weekly Sabbath cycle, as only on a 364 Day Calendar will the Sabbath be on a Fixed Day of the week every year, like every Saturday. The extra 365th Day made the 7th Day rotate to a different day of the week beginning on the last day of the year. 

The Enoch Calendar is determined by the Sun and Stars, giving us a year of exactly 364 days that havexactly 24 hours in each day.  The Julian and GregorianCalendars are Not determined by the Sun, but only by the Stars (the zodiac constellations that are ruled by planets/gods). The Julian Calendar reduced each hour of the day by 9.86 Seconds so that the hour has about 59 minutes and 50 Seconds, and the change was so subtle that the Hebrew people were unaware that this minor change could affect anything, let alone their Sabbath Day. The “9.86Seconds Per Hour” equates to almost 4 minutes per day (236.7 seconds per day or 3.9452 minutes per day), that is taken out of each of the 364 days to create the 365th day, that is the Great Gate in the book of Enoch. This is why our days are called Sidereal Days and have 23 hours, 56 minutes and 5 seconds. This “365th Created Day” is inserted into the calendar next to the Last Day of each year, which is around March 20th. The same procedure is followed again in each year to create the Leap Day, where an additional 2.47 Seconds is taken out of each Hour to create the Leap Day of February 29th, that is added in the Gregorian calendar every Four Years. This “Created Leap Day” is inserted into the calendar at the end of the 50th Week, every 4th year (i.e. 2/29/2008, 2/29/2012, 2/29/2016, 2/29/2020, etc.).

The following is a 5-Year Example showing that a Saturday Sabbath is not possible in every year. The Gregorian Calendar is an illusion and is deceptive in showing the “True 7th Day,” because when the 365th Day and 366th Day is added to the calendar, the Name Order will rotate to different days on the calendarAlthough the “Number” for each day Does Not Change its Order (1st Day to 7th Day), the “Name” for each day Does Change its Order (Sunday to Saturday), and the week can begin and end on any day from Sunday to Saturday.

EXAMPLE OF 7TH DAY SABBATH ON GREGORIAN CALENDAR – When the 365th Day (Day 0) is inserted into the calendar every year in the 52nd Week,Saturday shifts Back One Day, and when the 366th Day (Day 0) is inserted into the calendar every 4th year in the 52nd Week, Saturday shifts Back Two Days. In other words, Saturday will fall on any day of the week from the 7th Day throughthe 6th Day of the week. Beginning in the 1st Year, you will see that Saturday (S)shifts backward One Day to the position of the 6th Day of the week; in the 2ndYear Saturday shifts backward One Day to the position of the 5th Day of the week; in the 3rd Year Saturday shifts backward One Day to the position of the 4th Day of the week; in the 4th Year Saturday shifts backward Two Days to the position of 2nd Day of the week; and in the 5th Year Saturday shifts backwardOne Day to the position of the 1st Day of the weekThis process continues yearly on the Gregorian Calendar and the True 7th Day Sabbath will begin on a different Day of the Week (Sunday to Saturday) starting at the end of each year, beginning on March 20th,

Jubilees 2:20-22 And I have chosen the seed of Jacob from amongst all that I have seen, and have written him down as My first−born son, and have sanctified him unto Myself for ever and ever; 21 and I will teach them the Sabbath Day, that they may keep Sabbath thereon from all work.  And thus He created therein a SIGN in accordance with which they should keep Sabbath with us on the Seventh Day, to eat and to drink, and to bless Him who has created all things as He has blessed and sanctified unto Himself a peculiar people above all peoples, 22 and that they should keep Sabbath together with us. And He caused His commands to ascend as a sweet savour acceptable before Him all the days.

The 365th and 366th added days (0) are an illusion and do not exist. The following shows what day of the week the Jewish Saturday Sabbath fell on during the first five years, or when the 365th Day, and the 366th Day, (February 29th), were originally added to the Calendar:

As you can see above, it is impossible for Saturday to be the 7th Day Sabbath in every year because of the added two days. Although the “Number Order” of the Days remain fixed (1st Day to 7th Day), their corresponding “Name Order” of the Days change positions. This is very important to understand because only the weekly 7th Day is the DAY that was made HOLY, and NOT the Name Saturday.The 7th Day will be on a different day of the week beginning every March Equinox observed “Equal Night and Equal Day” in Jerusalem for a whole year. 

The 7th Day Sabbath can only be on a Fixed Day of the week on the Enoch 364 Day Calendar because it has “Exactly 52 Weeks,” (and Not “52 Weeks and Two Days” as the Gregorian Calendar). This is clear to see on the Enoch 364 Day Calendar that does not have the Roman names Sunday through Saturday on it.

The easiest way to understand the Enoch Calendar, is to look at “Equal Night and Equal Day” in Jerusalem as One Whole Day in the week, for “Joshua’s Longest Day.” The days in Enoch’s and Joshua’s time had 18 parts/moments per day or 18 hours per day. Joshua made the sun and moon stand still for 36 moments, and this equals Two Days in Time Past, but only One Day in the Week:

Enoch 72:31-33 And on that day the sun rises from that portal, and sets in the west, and returns to the East, and rises in the Third Portal for One-And-Thirty Mornings, and sets in the west of the heaven. On That Day the NIGHT decreases and amounts to NINE PARTS, and the DAY to NINE PARTS, and the NIGHT IS EQUAL TO THE DAY AND THE YEAR IS EXACTLY AS TO ITS DAYS THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-FOUR.

Joshua 88:64 And the Lord hearkened to the voice of Joshua, and the sun stood still in the midst of the heavens, and IT STOOD STILL SIX AND THIRTY MOMENTS, AND THE MOON ALSO STOOD STILL AND HASTENED NOT TO GO DOWN A WHOLE DAY.

The Enoch Calendar was used by David and he understood that each month had 30 days, plus one day at the end of each quarter for the change in season. This is how David knew when the new month began, as it was a SetApart Festival Day celebrated by all the Hebrew people:

1 Samuel 20:5 David said to Jonathan, Behold, tomorrow is the new month, and I should not fail to sit at table with the King; but let me go, that I may hide myself in the field till the third day at evening. 

1 Samuel 20:18 Then Jonathan said to him, Tomorrow is the new month; and you will be missed, because your seat will be empty.

Numbers 28:11-15 AT THE BEGINNINGS OF YOUR MONTHS you shall offer a burnt offering to YHWH: two young bulls, one ram, seven male lambs a year old without blemish; 12 also three tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a cereal offering, mixed with oil, for each bull; and two tenths of fine flour for a cereal offering, mixed with oil, for the one ram; 13 and a tenth of fine flour mixed with oil as a cereal offering for every lamb; for a burnt offering of pleasing odor, an offering by fire to YHWH. 14 Their drink offerings shall be half a hin of wine for a bull, a third of a hin for a ram, and a fourth of a hin for a lamb; THIS IS THE BURNT OFFERING OF EACH MONTH THROUGHOUT THE MONTHS OF THE YEAR. 15 Also one male goat for a sin offering to YHWH; it shall be offered besides the continual burnt offering and its drink offering.

Isaiah 66:23 From NEW MONTH TO NEW MONTH and from Sabbath to Sabbath, all flesh shall come to Worship before Me says YHWH.

Ezekiel 46:1 Thus says the Master YHWH: The Gate Of The Inner Court That Faces East Shall Be “Shut” On The Six Working Days; but on the Sabbath Day it will be “Opened” and on the Day Of The NEW MONTH it will be “Opened.”   

Ezekiel 46:3 The people of the land will Worship At The Entrance Of The Gate Before YHWH on the Sabbaths and on the NEW MONTHS.

Amos 8:4-7 Hear this! You that trample on the needy will desist, and the poor of the land shall rest. 5 You that say, WHEN WILL THE NEW MONTH BE OVER SO WE CAN SELL GRAIN, and the Sabbath so we can open the wheat? to measure out less and get more shekels by falsifying the scales, and being deceitful 6 to acquire the silver of the poor and the shoes of the needy, but sell them the refuse of the grain. YHWH swore that this arrogance of Jacob will Never be forgotten, nor their works.

2 Kings 4:23 He said go, it is not the Day of the NEW MONTH or Sabbath, so go in peace.  

The Book of Enoch shows the original Calender and gives details on the number of days in each of the 12 months. It tells us that the Calendar is Solar, with a year that has Exactly 364 Days. It states that the Last Day of the month 6  (the 31st Day Enoch 72:31-33) has Equal Day & Night Parts. 

The “Change of Season” occurs every 91 Days or 4 Days in a year. Each month has 30 days, plus an additional day at the end of each quarter (the 31st day) for the season change, where “the sun remains at the same latitude as the 30th day.”

Enoch 72:31-33 And on that day the sun rises from that portal, and sets in the west, and returns to the East, and rises in the Third Portal for One-And-Thirty Mornings, and sets in the west of the heaven. On That Day the NIGHT decreases and amounts to Nine Parts, and the DAY to Nine Parts, and the NIGHT IS EQUAL TO THE DAY AND THE YEAR IS EXACTLY AS TO ITS DAYS THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-FOUR.

Enoch 74:12 And the SUN AND THE STARS bring in all the years EXACTLY, so that THEY DO NOT ADVANCE OR DELAY THEIR POSITION BY A SINGLE DAY unto eternity; but COMPLETE THE YEARS WITH PERFECT JUSTICE IN 364 DAYS.

Jubilees 2:9-10 And Elohim appointed the Sun to be a Great Sign on the earth for Days, and for Sabbaths and for Months and for Feasts and for Years and for Sabbaths of Years and for Jubilees and for All Seasons of the Years.

Isaiah 2:3 And many peoples shall come, and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of YHWH, to the house of the God of Jacob; that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.” For OUT OF ZION SHALL GO FORTH THE LAW, AND THE WORD OF YHWH FROM JERUSALEM.

Micah 4:2 And many nations shall come, and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of YHWH, to the house of the God of Jacob; that he may teach us his ways and we may walk in his paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of YHWH from Jerusalem.

Enoch was the first man to write down the Calendar and it is the Calendar that Two Classes of Angels use, who also observe the Sabbath Day in heaven and on earth:

Jubilees 2:16-17 And he completed all his work on the sixth day, all that is in the heavens and on the earth and in the seas and in the abysses, in the light and in the darkness and in every thing; and he gave us [the angels] a great sign, the day of Sabbaths, that we should do work six days, and should rest on the Sabbath from all work. 17 And all the Angels of the Face and all the Angels that Cry ” Kodosh,” to us, these Two Great Kinds, He said that we should observe the Sabbath with Him in heaven and on earth.

Jubilees 4:16-19 And in the eleventh jubilee Jared took to himself a wife, and her name was Baraka, a daughter of Rasujel, a daughter of the sister of his father, in the fourth week of this jubilee; and she bore for him a son in the fifth week, in the fourth year, of this jubilee, and he called his name Enoch. 17 He was the first one from among the children of men that are born on the earth to learn writing and knowledge and wisdom. 18 And he wrote the Signs of Heaven according to the Order of their Months in a book, that the sons of men might know the time of the year according to their separate months. 19He was the first to write a testimony, and he testified to the children of men concerning the generations of the earth, and explained the Weeks of the Jubilees, and made known to them the Days of the Years, andArranged the Months and explained the Sabbaths of the Years as we made them known to him.

The Enoch Calendar was observed over 5,000 years ago in Sumer (Shinar), today’s southern Iraq. The Sumerian Priests (called Sesg Allu) would look for the following events that signaled the end of the year and the beginning of the New Year, and two events occurred on the equalized days (the last two days of the year):

1. On the 30th day of the 12th solar month, only 3 Stars of Constellation Pegasus appear just before sunrise on the eastern horizon, and that evening the moon sets with the sun (Waning Crescent Moon).

2. On the 31st day of the 12th solar month, the 4 Stars of Constellation Pegasus, forming a Square, appear just before sunrise on the eastern horizon, and the 4th star called Algenib appears to flicker as it moves above and below horizon, signaling the last day of the year, (the Spring Equinox), and that evening the moon is Completely Dark (New Moon).

3. On the 1st day of the 1st solar month, the 4 Stars of Constellation Pegasus, forming a Square, are steadily visible just before sunrise on the eastern horizon, signaling the 1st Day of the New Year, and the moon is Completely Dark (New Moon).

The moon sets with the sun on the Evening of the 30th Day, which is the end of the Twelfth month (Third Portal) and the end of the Sixth month (Fourth Portal), and these are equalization days. On the Evening of the 31st Day, the New Month and New Year’s day begins, and the moon is Covered with Darkness:

Enoch 73:4-7 And thus she rises. And her First Phase in the east comes forth on the THIRTIETH MORNING (waning crescent moon): and on that day she is visible, and constitutes for you the First Phase of the Moon (waning crescent moon) on the THIRTIETH DAY together with the Sun in the portal where the Sun Rises. 5 And the one half of her goes forth by a seventh part, and HER WHOLE CIRCUMFERENCE IS EMPTY, WITHOUT LIGHT, with the exception of one-seventh part of it, (and) the fourteenth part of her light. 6 And when she receives one-seventh part of the half of her light, her light amounts to one-seventh part and the half thereof. 7. And she sets with the sun, and when the sun rises the moon rises with him and receives the half of one part of light, and in that night in the beginning of her morning [in the commencement of the lunar day] THE MOON SETS WITH THE SUN, AND IS INVISIBLE THAT NIGHT with the fourteen parts and the half of one of them.

Enoch 74:35 In single seventh parts she accomplishes all her light in the east, and in single seventh parts ACCOMPLISHES ALL HER DARKNESS IN THE WEST. 4 And in certain months she alters her settings, and in certain months she pursues her own peculiar course. 5In two months the moon sets with the sun: in those Two middle Portals the Third and the Fourth. 

Psalm 81:3 Blow the trumpet on the New Month, on the Covered Feast Day.

Originally, from the 31st day of the 12th month at sunset until the 1st Day of the1st month at sunset, the moon was in conjunction with the sunHowever, a change occurred and now this happens every Saros or at the beginning of every 19th year, (in a 364 day year), when the moon phase cycle begins to repeat itself on the same dates.  We think the change may have occurred during Hezekiah’s days when only the sun was held back from ascending, but the Moon continued on its regular courseIn Joshua’s days, both the sun and moon stood still, so the sun and moon were synchronizedHowever, when only the sun was held back by 10° or for 40 minutes (360°/24 Hr. = 15° or 60 Min.), this may have caused the moon to be out of synchronization with the sun, so that New Moon would not coincide with New Year’s Day in every year. 

2 Kings 20:11 Isaiah the prophet called out to YHWH to keep back the shadow by Ten Degrees; and to keep it back from going higher or lower as it ascends on Ahaz.

Isaiah 38:8 He shall keep back the shadow from ascending or declining; as the sun ascends on Ahaz, it shall be kept back by ten degrees. The sun shall be kept back ten degrees from going higher or lower.

Nevertheless, the sun (Shamash) still Equalizes the year on the 30th Day of the Solar Month, (and also on the 31st Day of the Solar Month, which is the Season Change Day – 1 Enoch), and the star Algenib (the Sign) still Sweeps Along the Sun’s Path just before sunrise on New Year’s Day, and this is verified by a Sumerian cuneiform tablet that is housed in the British Museum:

 

Epic of Creation, Tablet V

He made the crescent moon appear, entrusted night (to it),

And designated it the jewel of night to mark out the days.

Go forth every month without fail in a corona,

At the beginning of the month, to glow over the land.

 

You shine with horns to mark out six days;

On the seventh day the crown is half.

The fifteenth day shall always be the mid-point,

the half of each month.

 

When Shamash looks at you from the horizon,

Gradually shed your visibility and begin to wane.

Always bring the day of disappearance,

close to the path of Shamash.

 

And on the thirtieth day, the [year] is always equalized,

for Shamash is  [responsible for] the year.

A Sign [shall appear (?)]: sweep along its path.

Then always approach the [ sun  ] and judge the case.

 

(The remaining 15 lines of the Tablet are broken-up, but the words “New Year’s Festival” is clearly readable.)

The star Algenib was the “Sign” that appeared on New Year’s Day just before sunrise, and it was the 4th star that completed Constellation Pegasus. Pegasus would look like a “Square” in heaven and it represented “Yah’s Temple” on earth that was called Ea-Engurra, (now called Tell Abu Shahrein / Shahrain), and was located in Sumer, in the city of Eridu. The biblical Abraham was also from Sumer, in the city of Ur, that was only 14 miles north-east of Eridu, and both cities wereon the west side of the Euphrates River [Genesis 11:27-31].  Marduk’s temple, called Esagila, was on the east side of the Euphrates River.

Only 3 Stars (Markab, Scheat, and Algenib) in constellation Pegasus were called the “Stars of Ea” (Yah) by the Sumerians, and these 3 Stars brought in the New Year. The Sumerian Priests would observe constellation Pegasus each day as Spring approached, and anxiously wait for the heliacal rising of the 3rd Star (called the IKU Star), which completed the “Square” of constellation Pegasus.  On March Equinox, the IKU Star (which is now called Algenib) appears to flicker as it moves above and below the “east-north-east horizon” just before sunrise, showing that this Day is the Spring Equinox Day and ended the Last Day of the Year.  On March Spring Equinox Day, the IKU Star (Algenib) sits on the “east-north-east horizon” and is Steadily Visiblejust before sunrise, and was the “Sign” that the New Year had begun and this day was called NisAnu 1.

The Akitu Festival marked the New Year and was celebrated from NisAnu 1 to NisAnu 12, with rituals, prayers, and offerings everyday, and the “Creation of the World” story, (EnUma ElIsh), was recited on NisAnu 4. The Akitu Festival rituals also depicted the Affirmation and Enthronement of Ea Alulim (Yah Elohim) as “King and Priest” under the Most High Anu. (The Hebrew word Nisan comes from the Sumerian/Akkadian word NisAnu, where Nis means “People” and Anu means “I AM,” or the “People of I AM“).

The Sumerian Akitu Festival was celebrated at the beginning of Spring and at the beginning of Autumn in every year for 12 days. These 12 days were later includedin the pagan religions and celebrated in winter, and are now known as the “12 Days of Christmas.” The biblical Moses taught the Israelites the forgotten Akitu festivals, and Yah used the “Pass Over” and Exodus events to ensure that the Israelites would never forget the season in which the festival is to occur.

The Sumerian texts also say that Ea (Yah) was the one who “Created Humanity,” and that Ea (Yah) was the one who “Saved Humanity” from extinction, when He saved Noah (Ut-Napishtim) and others in the Great Flood. Noah and his descendant Abraham were under the command of Ea (Yah) and Abraham called Ea (Yah) the “King of Truth” (Melchi’Zedek) and the “King of Peace” (Melchi’Salem):

Jasher 12:38 And Abram said to them, Do not bow down to me, but bow down to the Aloahiym of the world who made you, and serve him, and go in his ways for it is he who delivered me from out of this fire, and it is he who created the souls and spirits of all men, and formed man in his mother’s womb, and brought him forth into the world, and it is he who will deliver those who trust in him from all pain.

As for the moon, it has an important timing function in the Enoch Calendar, as it regulates the waters of the earth each day and oxygenates the waters for life to exist. As the moon revolves around the earth, it causes the waters to pull towards it, thus stirring up all the oceans and seas so that they do not stagnate. The moon has Four Appointed Times” each day; to make the Tides High, Two Times” a day, and to make the Tides Low, Two Times” a day:

Jeremiah 31:35 Thus says YHWH, which gave the sun for a light by day; and the ordinances of the moon and stars for a light by night, that stir up the seas by waves and turbulence; YHWH of hosts is His name.

Psalm 104:19 The moon was made for appointed times, and the sun knows when to go down.

When the sun, moon, and earth are in conjunction, on the new moon and on the full moon, the sun has an added effect on the tides, making the high tides much higher and making the low tides much lower, (called spring tides). At half moon, the moon’s gravity pulls the least, so the tides are the lowest, (called neap tides). 

Jubilees 6:23 And on the New Day of the First Month, and on the New Day of the Fourth Month, and on the New Day of the Seventh Month, and on the New Day of the Tenth Month are the days of remembrance, and the Days of the Seasons in the Four Divisions of the Year. These are written and ordained as a testimony for ever.

Jubilees 6:29-31 And they placed them on the heavenly tablets, each had thirteen weeks; from one to another (passed) their memorial, from the first to the second, and from the second to the third, and from the third to the fourth. 30 And all the days of the commandment will be two and fifty weeks of days, and (these will make) the entire year complete. Thus it is engraven and ordained on the heavenly tablets. 31 And there is no neglecting (this commandment) for a single year or from year to year.

  SABBATH YEARS AND JUBILEE YEARS

 

We know that the Enoch Calendar is determined by the sun and stars and therefore, the sun and stars must also determine the Sabbath Years and JubileeYears. The Sabbath Year begins every Seventh Year, on the First Day of the Seventh Month, and the Jubilee Year begins every Fiftieth Year, on the First Day of the Seventh Month. In these years, on the Tenth Day of the Seventh Month, on the Day of Atonement, a Proclamation of Liberty is made to all the inhabitants of the earth.

The binary star system Sirius (Sirius A and Sirius B – a double star) determines the Jubilee years. It takes “Sirius B” 50 years to orbit “Sirius A” and the Sirius star system was watched carefully in ancient times by the Sumerians and the Egyptians.  The Sumerians called Sirius the “Bow Star” because of its double helix or bow shaped orbit, and the Egyptians and Greeks called it Sothis (Isis).

In the 50th year of Sirius B’s orbit, Sirius B is the closest to Sirius A’s orbit, and the gravitational pull of these two stars on each other releases a Tremendous amount of Energy and Power, making Sirius A look Enormously Brighter then normal and appear to wobble. This event was discovered in 1844 by the German astronomer Friedrich Bessel, who witnessed this Extraordinary event that looked like a huge magnetic storm on the eastern horizon just before sunrise, and this event was called the “Great” heliacal rising of Sirius that happens Only Once every 50 years.

The “Annual” heliacal rising of Sirius A occurs between July and August in every year and it signaled the coming of the Nile River Flood and the New Year to the Egyptians. The “Great” heliacal rising, when Sirius A and Sirius B are the closest together, was known as the “Great Conjunction” that occurred in summer every 50th year. This Great Conjunction occurred in the year 6 BCE (a Jubilee Year) and it was known as the “Star of Bethlehem,” and the previous year, 7 BCE, was a Sabbath Year.

Enoch and the Psalm describe:

Enoch 74:3-5 In single seventh parts she accomplishes all her light in the east, and in single seventh parts ACCOMPLISHES ALL HER DARKNESS IN THE WEST. 4 And in certain months she alters her settings, and in certain months she pursues her own peculiar course. 5 In two months the moon sets with the sun: in those Two middle Portals the Third and the Fourth. 

Psalm 81:3 Blow the Trumpet on the New Month, on the Covered Feast Day.

It is interesting to note that the most famous date in Astronomy was July 16, 1994, when Comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 crashed into the planet Jupiter, as a result of the tremendous energy produced by the closeness of Sirius A and Sirius B, and it was the first cataclysmic event ever observed by NASA and other government agencies around the world. July 16th is also the First Day of the 5th Month on the Enoch Calender.

The “Great” heliacal rising of the star Sirius is the “sign” that the Jubilee Year is about to begin

Leviticus 25:9-13 The Trumpet blasts will sound on the Tenth Day of the Seventh Month; On the Day of Atonement the Trumpets will sound throughout the earth, 10 Thallow the Fiftieth Year and Proclaim Liberty to the earth’s inhabitants with Trumpets. Leviticus 27:17-18 Sanctify the field in the Year of Trumpets, and let the price be established. 18 Sanctify the field After Trumpets, and the priest shall calculate the price according to the years behind the Year of Trumpets, and shall not diminish the price.

Leviticus 25:21-22 Then I will command my blessing upon you in the Sixth year and it shall make produce for Three years. 22 And you shallsow the Eighth year and eat of old produce until the Ninth year; until the produce comes in, you shall eat from the old storage.

      the equinox (mean mathematical calculation as printed on common calendars across the world is estimated for Jerusalem longitude at occurring on 20th March at 6.30 am (see: http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/seasons.html?n=110 ).
      Note that the mathematical estimate is not o be confused with the actual true sun observance which is confirmed by observation as it would occur on a sundial at the proper longitude.
      As the mathematical estimate is calculated for occurring in 2016 early in the morning (6.30 am) then we know that the actual real sun observation on a sundial would also be occurring on that day (march 20th). If the mathematical estimate for Jerusalem was estimated at 9.00pm in the evebing of the 20th for example then we would know that the day of the true sun observance of the euinox ocurring would necessarily be falling out on the next day.

      The biblical day begins at sunrise as opposed to the Rabbinic calendar theology of the day starting at the evening.

      Someone asked me what is the difference of the calendar we observe here and sister Kimberly’s submitted Calendar…Answer is: we employ the same principle and do the exact same counting for the YEAR and for the Week…except she is using March 17/18 as Equinox but we use Jerusalem Spring Equinox March 21 evening as Day 1 of the year…hence..that 4 days difference make A BIG difference in observing the Shabbat day as well as the feast day!!

      We observe according to “All the data we receive says that Jerusalem equinox is around 20th or 21th of March of March. of that year”…regardless of where we are! Once we fix on that, there are only 24 hours differences throughout the whole world time zone…it means, we all start the year with the same day/date….accordingly!!

      In short, The March 17 Equilux is something quite different from March 21 Equinox and is not accurately measurable because it is dependent on the latitude position. They use this because of their interpretation of Enoch – but as I discussed in my article this is inaccurate because Enoch was a pre-flood calendar and the equator at the time of pre-flood was in proximity of the covenant land whereas to day it is moved because the earth has been moved some 23 degrees on its axis.You need to understand the physics of the difference between the equinox and the equilux. The website you refer to simply reads that in Enoch he said the equal day equal night was occurring at beginning of the year when the sun completed its circuit (the equinox). The astronomical reality is that the only place where the equinox and the equilux coincide is when one is at the equator – this is not the case for the covenant land today proving that the earth has been tilted on its axis because of the flood because at Jerusalem today the equilux occurs some 4 days earlier than the equinox. I have discussed this in my last article. However the people who simply interpret the Enoch calendar in that way will not acknowledge that the Enoch calendar is a preflood calendar where the earth was not in the same orbit (they argue that there is only 364 days (when in creation reality there is 365.25 days) in the year today – by theological arguing that the Day of Atonement is not a day to be included in the calendar – it is nonsensical – but they have to do something theological like that because the tilt of the earth was not in the same position pre-flood as it is today and the earth’s orbit around the sun takes 365.25 days today (as opposed to 364 days pre-flood).   2. Does Torah & Enoch Provide For A Day More Than The Required 364?

    Since the solar year is no longer 364 days as prescribed by Scripture and seen in the writings of Enoch and Jubilees we have a big dilemma-or do we? The recent discovery of the Dead Sea scrolls
    has brought us an insight to the Zadokite Priestly Temple Schedule as per 1 Chronicles Ch.24,
    which was at a time after the solar year changed to 365.25 solar days. How did they handle this dilemma? The answer is found in the Book of Enoch.
    The Great Gate

    Enoch describes the renewal of the seasons at a place called the “Principle Gates” or rather 3 Principle Gates, Summer, Autumn and Winter. But what of Spring? This is where we find the
    reckoning-start of the year, where we observe the Great Renewal Enoch aptly calls the “GREAT GATE”.
    At this Gate is where the last day[s] of the year are held until the announcement of the Spring Equinox by the great marker the Aviv Ot in the heavens, the Sun. If this Great Gate did not have a
    special purpose, why would Enoch distinguish it from the other gates? If it didn’t have a distinctive purpose, wouldn’t he have just called it a Principle Gate which ushers in the Spring
    season?
    Let’s take a moment and look at the meaning of this word “Great-Gadol”-
    British Dictionary definitions for GREAT/ɡreɪt/

    2. Relatively large in number; having many parts or members: a great assembly

    Rebuilding is exactly what we are doing in the Great Gate HaShar-HaGadol as we wait for the return of the New Year marked by the Sun. The GREAT GATE is great in that it is designed to
    CONNECT TWO DIFFERENT YEARS. Day 364 enters the Great Gate and manifests as Aviv 1. Solar Day 365.25 as it is waiting in the Great Gate, never to manifest to man. The Spring Equinox marks
    the fourth day of the first week, for that is when the luminaries in the heavens were assigned their duties. The Shabbat is then counted from the 4th day and falls 3 days later on Aviv 4 every year, from year to year le-olam-va-ed forever! From there we merely count every seven days, until the Great Gate and the rebuilding and turn of the new year on Aviv 1. Enoch 75:1 -The leaders of the CHIEFS of the thousands, which are appointed over the whole creation and upon all the stars, are counted together with the four leaders of the easons; they do not leave from the fixed stations according to the reckoning of the year; and they render service on the four days which are not counted in the reckoning of the year, Who are these leaders of the chiefs of the thousands? They are none other than the leaders of the
    constellation or the Houses of the Sun, which mark the Chodesh months-that is the Mazzaroth.
    Enoch tells us that they are counted with the leaders of the four seasons and render service to these seasonal leaders. They are Pisces-Spring, Gemini-Summer, Virgo-Fall and SagittariusWinter.Just
    like the seasonal markers, these four chiefs are YHWH’s set-a-side markers of time.
    YHWH’S time is circular and as instructed by Enoch, we learn that the year is bound to the month which is bound to the Shabbat.
    Now regarding he uncounted day in the Great Gate. Twice in the book of Jubilees, four times in the book of Enoch, we are commanded to make the year 364 days ONLY. This leaves an uncounted day, the 365.25th day. Though it’s not counted in the days of the year it does serve other purposes.
    1. The ancient Hebrews were forbidden to name their days and months, they counted them.
    Before the calendars of man and his religions named the days and made them perpetual, the year ended on the count of the 364th day. The 365.25th day acted as a partition to separate the old
    and New Year, and stopped the count of days.
    2. The calendar of our Father is self sustaining and self correcting, needing no involvement by man.
    The 365.25th day acts as a buffer, to allow the self correcting nature of the calendar to work properly. The gentiles and rabbinical Jews are perplexed by it and try to fix and intercalate it
    creating a mess with all holy days way off Torah time. Israel and people of faith on the other hand, realize that it needs NO FIXING WHATSOEVER and that the 365th day serves as a day to get prepared
    for the SIGN OF THE AVIV and the first Shabbat just 3 days after that. This Master design is designed。
    so that even without internet or human interaction, any man or woman deserted alone with just food and a stick, can SEE THE VISIBLE SIGN OF AVIV after counting 365 sunrises, find Aviv 1 and the first Shabbat just 3 days later. From that point he counts every 7 days for the other weekly Shabbats.
    Time is to be taken from where our Father places His Name and where the priests of old declared the Spring Equinox, at the first Temple, beginning the New Year. So with a universal time and a universal place the only other determining factor is dependent on sunrise in Jerusalem, which began a new day. If the equinox was declared before sunrise that would be the day of the Spring Equinox; if in the dark of the night, the next sunrise would be the day of the Spring Equinox. So,with a universal place and time, the 365.25th day acted as a buffer to allow the whole earth to finish their count of 364 days and the whole earth would begin the New Year together, on the same day, with the same count of days.     72:2 This is the first commandment of the luminaries: The sun is a
    luminary whose egress is an opening of heaven, which is located in
    the direction of the east, and whose ingress is another opening of
    heaven, located in the west.
    The first command of the luminaries is to the sun.
    72:3 I saw six openings through which the sun rises and six openings
    through which it sets. The moon also rises and sets through the same
    openings, and they are guided by the stars; together with those
    whom they lead, they are six in the east and six; in the west heaven.
    All of them, are arranged one after another in a constant order.
    There are many windows both to the left and the right of these
    openings.
    There are six gates by which the sun rises from the extreme south, the
    winter solstice, and six gates by which the sun descends from the
    extreme north, the summer solstice. These are the twelve months of the
    year.
    72:6 In this manner it rises in the first month through the major
    gate; it proceeds through this gate which is the fourth among those
    six openings which are located in the direction of the east.
    The first month begins as the sun enters the fourth gate, called a major
    gate. This gate is a major gate because it is the only gate where two
    great events take place, the spring and fall equinox. From these two
    events the appointed times of the spring and fall festivals are counted to.
    The spring equinox is the only event that the Sabbaths are counted from.
    So the new year begins with the spring equinox.
    72:7 By this fourth gate through which the sun rises during the first
    month there are twelve open windows from which a flame flows,
    when they are opened at the appropriate time.
    72:8 When the sun rises in the east in the sky, it goes out through
    this fourth gate for thirty mornings and descends faithfully through
    the fourth gate in the western sky.
    72:9 During those thirty days the day daily becomes longer and the
    night nightly shorter, for thirty days.
    This is the beginning of the twelve months of the year, each containing
    30 days. As the sun enters and progresses through this fourth gate, the
    spring equinox, days grow longer, the nights grow shorter. Notice;
    Enoch does not begin the new year with equal day/night.
    72:10 On that day, the day is longer than the night by one ninth; so
    the day turns out to be exactly ten parts and the night to be eight
    parts. 72:11 The sun rises from that fourth eastern gate and sets in
    the fourth western one, and then it turns and comes into the fifth
    gate of the east for thirty days, through which it rises, and sets in the
    fifth gate.
    72:12 At that time the day further becomes longer and becomes
    eleven parts and the night shortens and becomes seven parts on
    account of the sun.
    72:13 It then returns to the east and comes into the sixth gate, rising
    and setting through that sixth gate for thirty one days, according to
    the principle of the gate.
    72:14 On that day the day becomes longer than the night still
    further; so the day becomes twelve parts and the night shortens and
    becomes six parts.
    72:15 Then the sun is raised in such a way that its duration shortens
    and night occurs; the sun returns to the east and enters the sixth

    72:16 When thirty days are completed, the day decreases exactly by
    one part, and becomes eleven parts, and the night seven.
    The sun progresses through the fourth, fifth and sixth gates, each thirty
    days in length and the day becomes longer than the night. At the summer
    solstice, the thirty first day, which divides the sixth gate into two months
    of thirty days each, the sun begins it’s descent to the south with the days
    becoming shorter and the nights longer. Each month is thirty days.
    72:19 Then the sun, departing from that fifth gate and setting in the
    fifth gate, in the west, rises in the fourth gate for thirty one days
    according to the principle of the gate, and sets in the west.
    The thirty first day of this fourth gate is the fall equinox which is the
    principle of the fourth gate.

    72:20 On that day the day is aligned with the night, so that they
    become equal; so the night becomes nine parts and the day nine
    parts.
    Just past the fall equinox as the sun descends below the equator there is
    equal day/night. Notice; this is the first time Enoch mentions equal
    day/night. The equinox is not EXACTLY equal day/night.

    72:21 Then the sun, departing from that gate and setting in the west,
    returns to the east and comes out through the third gate for thirty
    days, and sets in the third gate in the west.
    72:22 On that day the night becomes longer than the day; it becomes
    longer than the previous night and the day becomes shorter than the
    previous day, for thirty days; so the night turns out to be exactly ten
    parts and the day to be eight parts.
    72:23 Then the sun, departing from that third gate in the west and
    returning to the east, comes out through the second gate in the east
    for thirty days, and in the same manner it sets through the second
    gate in the western sky.
    72:24 On that day the night becomes eleven parts and the day seven
    parts.
    72:25 Then the sun, departing on that day from that second gate
    and setting in the west in the second gate, returns to the east and
    rises in the first gate for thirty one days, and sets on that day in the
    western sky.
    The sun continues it’s southern descent through the third, second and
    first gates for thirty days each. The thirty first day is the winter solstice,
    which divides the first gate into two months of thirty days each. After the
    winter solstice the sun begins it’s northward ascent.
    72:26 On that day the night lengthens and becomes twelve parts,
    whereas the day shortens and becomes six parts.
    72:27 Thus the sun completes its appearances, and goes through
    those same cycles of appearances a second time, coming out through
    all the openings for thirty days and setting also in the west opposite
    to it.
    72:28 On that night the length of the night decreases by one ninth;
    so the night becomes eleven parts and the day seven parts.
    72:29 Then the sun, returning and entering the second gate which is
    in the east, resumes its appearances for thirty mornings, rising and
    setting as usual.
    72:30 On that day the night becomes shorter, so the night becomes
    ten parts and the day eight parts.
    72:31 On that day the sun, departing from this second gate and
    setting in the west, returns to the east and rises through the third
    gate for thirty one days, and sets in the western sky.

    72:32 On that day the night shortens and becomes nine parts and
    the day nine parts. Then the night becomes equal with the day, and
    the days of the year add up to exactly three hundred sixty four days.
    The sun begins it’s northern rise after the winter solstice from the first
    gate, to the second gate and into the third gate. After thirty days in the
    third gate the end of the year has equal day/night completing it’s cycle
    with 364 days.

    Jubilees 6:32 And command you the children of Yisrael that they
    observe the years according to this reckoning- three hundred and
    sixty-four days, and (these) will constitute a complete year, and they
    will not disturb its time from its days and from its feasts; for
    everything will fall out in them according to their testimony, and
    they will not leave out any day nor disturb any feasts.

    Jubilees 6: 38 For this reason I command and testify to you that you
    may testify to them; for after your death your children will disturb
    them, so that they will not make the year three hundred and sixtyfour
    days only, and for this reason they will go wrong as to the new
    months and seasons and Shabbats and festivals, and they will eat all
    kinds of blood with all kinds of flesh.

    Twice in the book of Jubilees we are commanded to make the year 364
    days only. The use of the word only can be taken to suggest there is
    more day/days.
    The 365th day is a buffer between the old and new year. As a divider it
    serves two purposes. The first purpose is to prevent any days from being
    carried over to the new year. As commanded, the year is finished with 52
    equal length weeks of days. The second purpose of this day is to allow
    the whole earth to complete it’s count of days and begin anew together
    at a fixed time where our Father places his name, in Jerusalem.

  4. In the Millennial Kingdom both the solar and lunar year will have 364 or 365:
    In eternity Revelation chapter 21 and chapter 22 when the sun and moon are not needed; because when Messiah our Malki-Tzedik stands up to lead us at the fixed times, we’ll stand and follow Him and his light.
    For now, never give credit to moon concept of Babylon! Why Babylon? Because the pre Islamic Babylonian moon-deity Sin was worshipped there, whose symbol is the crescent moon.
    The scriptural record of the crescent moon and those associated with it are negative!

    Moshe, the Sphinx, the Pyramids, the Equinox and the dawn day start marker!
    Acts 7:22 And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds.
    The Sphinx is an equinoctial marker. The Sphinx faces East at the exact location where the Sun rises on the day of the vernal equinox (21 March). As the sun rises it illuminates its face.
    The Great Pyramid is a giant sundial, with it’s shadow to the north and its reflected sunlight to the south. This accurately marks both the solstices and equinoxes. Two of its faces are orientated due east and west – the exact points of the rising and setting sun only on the spring and autumnominal equinox.
    Equinox or Equilux:
    equinox is not equal day and night, that’s equilux. The equinox is a time when the center of sun can be observed directly above the earths equator. It’s the equinox that is the scriptural sign for the beginning of the year.
    Equinox in scripture is Tekufah. Tekufah is an exact yearly event. The equilux is not exact because it can last for longer periods of time on either side of the equinox.
    The Tekufah:
    The Tekufah is found in Exodus 34.22 (the turn of the year), 1 Samuel 1:20 (Hannah/Elkenah>Samuel prophecy) Elkenah was attending the Feast of Passover, Psalm 19:6 (the mazzoreth and the constellations), 2 Chronicles 24:23 (the year end).
    Deuteronomy 16:1The great Et-Ot, or sign of the year.
    This great sign is for the entire year and all weekly and annual shabbats and it’s called the ‘turn of the year’ or the ‘Tekufah Ha Shanna’, Rosh Ha Shanna.

    1 Chronicle 20:1 In the time of King David, Joab would take out a raiding party after the ‘equinox’, ‘turn of the year’ and plunder the harvest!
    Identifying the Equinox:
    The ecliptic represents the suns apparent yearly path in from of the constellations of the Mazzaroth.
    The celestial equator is a circle drawn around the sky above the earth’s equator.
    The eliptic and celestial equator intersect at the spring equinox and autumnal equinox points.
    Equinox identified with Jerusalem time zone is the first day of the year; Day 4 of the week and month one of the new year.
    The day begins at dawn/ twilight – not sunrise, light breaking forth is the beginning of time event, not the cresting of the sun over the horizon.

  5. Important Note-The Spring Feasts-Moadem are all in the Spring AFTER the Spring Tekufah turn of the year. There are no issues there. But what about the Fall Feasts, a term not recorded in Torah at all?

    Tekufah or the turn of the year in the Scriptures is only mentioned in conjunction with the 7 days Feast of Tabernacles SUKKOT not ever with Teruah-Trumpets. Therefore technically according to Torah only Sukkot must fall on or after the Equinox in Sept. 22nd, making Trumpets a late SUMMER feast.

    It just so happens that Yom Kippur Atonement Day occurs after the Fall Marker-Equinox, making both Atonement and Tabernacles “Fall Feasts”, while Trumpets always falls before the equinox, perhaps as some sort of an announcement. The Torah is clear on this and only requires the 7 days Tabernacles to fall on or around the fall Tekufah, even when the seasons may change the number of their days. Let’s have a look at Exodus Ch. 34:22:

    כב וְחַג שָׁבֻעֹת תַּעֲשֶׂה לְךָ, בִּכּוּרֵי קְצִיר חִטִּים; וְחַג, הָאָסִיף–תְּקוּפַת, הַשָּׁנָה. 22 And thou shall observe the feast of weeks, even of the first-fruits of wheat harvest, and the Feast of Ingathering at the Turn of the Year.

    The Hebrew word Chag, refers to Tabernacles, as Trumpets is not a Chag. There are only 3 chageem; Unleavened Bread-Chag Matzoth, Feast of Weeks-Chag Shavuot and Feast of Tabernacles-Chag Sukkoth.

    Deuteronomy 16:16 -Three times in a year shall all your males appear before YHWH your Elohim in the place which He shall choose; at Chag Matzoth, and at Chag Shavuot, and at Chag Sukkot: and they shall not appear before YHWH empty-handed:
    The other Leviticus Ch. 23 feasts are never called Chags or Chageem! A chag is a required foot-ascension festival, where a Jerusalem appearance is required.

So if anyone can post this to them it would be appreciated, as their Lunar Solar Calendar is a deception.

    You say that the 15th is a Sabbath. That Christ was crucified on the 14th, the Passover and then resurrected on the first day of the week which is the 16th. So Christ has spent 2 nights and maybe 2 days in the grave. Yet the scriptures tell us that, Matthew 12:39, Yahushua tells the Pharisees I will give you only the sign of Jonah. The sign of Jonah, is Jonah 1:17 Jonah was inside the fish for three days and three nights.
    From the gospel accounts and from Leviticus 23 we can verify what the weekly Sabbaths and Moedim are. The 14th of Abib is the Passover in the evening and this is a Moedim, then the 15th is the first day of Unleavened bread and this is a Moedim (not a weekly Sabbath).
    You have to understand what is happening in the time of Yahushua and what calendar Yahushua kept and what calendar the Pharisees and Sadducee’s kept. It is only because of the Dead Sea Scrolls that we now know what Calendars they kept.
    Yahushua kept a Solar only Calendar which begins on the Vernal (Israel) Equinox each year and the weekly Sabbath for the first month falls on the 4th, the 11th, the 18th and the 25th. These dates can be verified by the Sabbath Sacrifice Songs and the events at Passover. Also we know from the Talmud that the destruction of the Temple in 70AD took place on the 9th of AV, the fifth month. A day that the Jews respect each year. But this day was on a weekly Sabbath as it is recorded in the Talmud. On the Solar calendar which is the Zadokite Solar calendar written in the Dead Sea Scrolls the 9th of AV, the fifth month is a weekly Sabbath. So if you work backwards from the 9th of AV (as the calendar works) you will come to the Vernal Equinox as being day one.
    In the time of Yahushua, all groups of peoples kept the weekly Sabbath subject to the Zadokite Solar calendar. The Zealots even kept this calendar on the top of Masada. As the discovery of the ancient ruins has shown.
    But the Temple Pharisees and Sadducee’s kept a lunar moon calendar for their Moedim, as was introduced or forced on them by Anticocus Epiphanies around 180BC.
    These dates happened in the year Yahushua was crucified and it also happened in our year 2015. There was a one day difference between the calendars. Yahushua has His Passover meal with His disciples and then the next day He is getting crucified on the Pharisees Passover, their 14th, but Yahushua’s 15th His day of Unleavened bread. Yahushua then spends three nights and three days in the tomb rising on the weekly Sabbath the 18th. Then the women go to the tomb the next morning the first day of the week. This 18th the weekly Sabbath is also the 17th but it is the same day, because I want to bring out the High Weekly Sabbath which the Pharisees still have today and that is the Weekly Sabbath four days before the 14th, when they would go and get their lamb. On the Pharisees calendar this fell on the weekly Sabbath, but on Yahushua’s calendar this day fell on the 6th day of the week, which was the 10th day of the month. This fact is also written in the Talmud, proving that the weekly sabbaths for the first month of the year always fall on the 4th, the 11th, the 18th and the 25th.
    When you quote the 15th for the Feast of Unleavened Bread and then again for the Feast of Tabernacles, these days are not weekly sabbaths they are Moedim days.
    Also I want to bring out the Day of Atonement, the Holiest time of the year. A date that has been lost for two thousand years. In the Talmud it is written that the Day of Atonement was always before a weekly sabbath. And using the Zadokite Solar calendar this is true. the Day of Atonement starting in the evening of the 9th of the seventh month and ending at sunset on the 10th day. The next day the 11th of the seventh month is a Weekly Sabbath.
    We are in a time of restoration of the Truth and it is because of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls that we can now start to understand the dynamics of the life of Yahushua and the Scriptures. And there are also many other documents which have come to light. Like the life of James the Zadok (just), who was murdered on the Temple steps and he was allowed to go into the Holy place on the day of Atonement, only because he kept a different calendar from the Pharisees.
    Please take your time to get your head around these facts, as many people are following your calendar which is false. In the Dead sea Scrolls they use the language of Sons of Light and sons of Darkness. This language referred to the sons of Light keeping a Solar only Calendar and the sons of Darkness the Pharisees who kept a Lunar only calendar. Written in “World” 30/may/2016, ‘The Dead Sea Scrolls are an exciting testament of paramount importance that bear witness to the existence of Israel in the land of Israel 2,000 years ago and they were found close to the return to Zion and the establishment of the State of Israel. The scrolls created over a period of several hundred years, were discovered in 11 wilderness caves between 1946 and 1956. They include not only ancient biblical texts but much other material which sheds light on the development of Judaism and early Christianity”.

    The Dead Sea Scrolls where used as evidence for the State of Israel to be founded in 1948. “Is the appointed time” in verse 13 only referring to the State of Israel being founded or is it also referring to YAHUAH’s appointed times, His Moedim? In the last 2,000 years YAHUAH’s appointed times were lost due to murder and assimilation of His people, into Rabbinical Judaism, Islam and Christendom.

    The following is taken from Rachel Eliors Book “The Three Temples” pg 108, telling about the importance of the Moedim being YAHUAH’s Appointed Times and how the Pharisees, who are now Rabbinical Judaism call the set times by human methods making them their set times.
    ‘The Zadok Solar Calendar is an unchangeable Calendar of heavenly origin, based on a fixed mathematical calculation of the eternal cyclic pattern of the cyclic motions of the sun relying on consecration by angels and priests. The Solar Calendar, representing an immutable relationship between Sabbaths and festivals in heaven and on earth was agriculturally based, marking such events as the first produce of barley, wheat, wine and olive oil, the harvesting and ingathering of crops, it bound together nature and ritual, being founded on the postulate that time and its divisions were divine, that the abstract Sabbath had been imprinted upon visible nature, since the seven days of creation.
    The keepers of the Solar calendar argued that the festivals fell on days prearranged by divine degree keeping with the biblical verse, Leviticus 23:4,’These are the set times of YAHUAH, the sacred occasions in which you shall celebrate each at its appointed time’, ‘appointed time’, they argued, implied an eternally fixed date, dependent on the cyclic movements of the sun and observed in heaven and on earth.
    By contrast the believers in sanctity of the Greek lunar Calendar stressed the second person plural,’you shall celebrate’, implying human determination of the times of the festivals, as expressed by consecration of the new moon on the basis of the human sightings of the crescent moon, which was not subject to any priestly angelic pattern of cyclic recurrence. It was a human court that heard the human witnesses and on that basis, by consecration of the new moon, established the dates of the festivals. The disagreement is clearly reflected in the following passages of the Mishnah, which specially concerns the Day of Atonement.
    ‘These are the appointed times of YAHUAH, holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim— whether at their proper time or not at their proper time, I have no appointed times save these’.
    According to some authorities the author of this statement, Rabbi Akiva, made the inference from the defective spelling of the Hebrew word otam, ‘them’, referring to ‘set/appointed times’. which could also be read as atem, ‘you’. This is the gist of a baraita (tannaitic teaching) cited in the talmudic exposition of the above Mishnah passage. The text says,’you’,’you’,’you’, three times (i.e. the word otam (them) in Lev.22:31, 23:2 and 23:4 is read as if vocalized atem (you) for homiletical purposes), to indicate that ‘you’ (may set the appointed times) even if you err inadvertently, ‘you’, even if you err deliberately, ‘you’, even if you are misled.
    A similar exposition, is offered in the halakhic midrash Sifra; ‘If you proclaim them, they are my set times; if not, they are not my set times’. In other words: there are no appointed times (mo’adim) other than those announced and celebrated by the Pharisees of the court, regardless of whether they have been set for the ‘proper’ time.
    The cardinal religious importance that the Pharisees attached to the consecration of the appointed times by the court–a human agency– emerges from many traditions and is in direct contrast to the Zadokite priestly position. The Pharisees in the Land of Israel fought for many centuries to maintain this exclusive right. Vestiges of the controversy echo in the well-known polemic between the Pharisees and the Zadokites as to the meaning of the expression ‘the day after the Sabbath’, which determines when the counting of the omer begins and hence when Shavuot is to be celebrated. The Zadokites count from the first Sabbath after the week of Unleavened bread (from the 26th of the first month), and hence Shavuot is celebrated on the 15th of the third month.. It is also reflected in the Qumranic Commentary on Habakkuk in relation to persecution of the Zadokite priesthood and calendrical controversy.
    All these manifestations of controversy may be summarized as follows. On the one hand was a deterministic perception of time, heavenly origin, bound up with the cyclic laws of nature as reflected in a fixed Solar Calendar whose festivals fell not only on fixed dates of the month but also on fixed days of the week, a calendar maintained unchanged by angels and priests who attested to its divine origin, recording its heavenly character in their written documents and citing the full text of the verse Leviticus 23:4, These are the set times of YAHUAH, the sacred occasions in which you shall celebrate each at its appointed time’, thus declaring as it were, “It is in the heavens’ (contrary to Deuteronomy 30:12).
    On the other ( Pharisees) was a perception of time dependent on variable, human decisions, governed by observations made by ordinary mortals, as reflected in a changeable, Greek lunar calendar, maintained by leaders who derived their authority from the people as a whole, by a court which heard testimony from any witness, took terrestrial interests and the good of the Community into consideration and invoked, as a crucial principal, ‘It is not in the heavens’.”

    Psalm 102,verse 12 to 15, ” But You YAHUAH, endurest for ever (sit enthroned for ever) , and Your memorial to generation and generation. 13 You shall arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for it is time to have mercy upon her, for the set time is come, the appointed time has come. 14 For Your servants have taken pleasure in her stones, and they shall pity her dust. 15 So the nations shall fear Your Name, O YAHUAH, and all kings Your glory.

    Because of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls we now know that Yahusha kept a different calendar from the Pharisees and Sadducee’s. And Yahusha’s day began at sunrise. The Pharisees and Sadducee’s were keeping a Greek lunar calendar for their Moedim that had been forced on them by Antiochus Epiphanies. Yahusha’s Calendar is a Solar Calendar, it is the Calendar that was first shown to Enoch then passed to Noah, Shem, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, King David, Solomon, Nehemiah etc. They all kept the Zadokite Solar Calendar. It is also an agricultural calendar and takes in the harvest of barley, wheat, wine, oil and the ingathering of the harvest in Autumn and also the lambing time in Spring. The Greek lunar calendar does not respect the agricultural harvests of the land of Israel and the lambing time in Spring.

    Psalm 102 verses 18 to 22-” Let this be written for the last generation; and the people that shall be created shall praise YAHUAH. 19 For He has looked out from the height of His sanctuary; YAHUAH looked upon the earth from heaven; 20 to hear the groaning of the fettered ones, to loosen the sons of the slain; 21 to proclaim the name of YAHUAH in Zion, and His praise in Jerusalem; 22 when the people are gathered together, and the kings, to serve YAHUAH.

    The Dead Sea Scrolls confirmed the right for the State of Israel to be established and the Dead Sea Scrolls have given us YAHUAH’s appointed times, His Moedims.     on Enoch 72: 31-32 the author is speaking on the 364th day (=the 31 day of the 12th month) as the equinox however we always understood that the 1/1 is the equinox, however he is consistent and in this chapter he is speaking on the spring equinox and the autumn equinox and the summer and the winter solstice on the 31 day of the third , six , nine and twelve month

    Enoch 82:6-7
    82.6 For they belong in the reckoning of the year, and are truly recorded forever, one in the first Gate, and one in the third, and one in the fourth and one in the sixth. And the year is completed in 364 days.
    82.7 And the account of it is true, and the recorded reckoning of it is exact, for the lights, and the months, and the feasts, and the years, and the days. Uriel showed me, and inspired me; he to whom the MASTER of the whole created world gave commands about the Host of Heaven for me.

    Yes we do see the start of the year…leader in 3rd gate =spring equinox.
    when we obey the command of 364 the spring reset always keep things in season…we either obey or disobey the command…these verses are clear that the LEADERS=MARKERS that occur the last day in their respective gates not the first…so that Aviv 1 is the DAY AFTER Equinox

    As we have continued to dig and search deeply for the true division of the times of YHWH, properly divided by Torah, Enoch, Angels and the Dead Sea Scrolls, we have come to a shocking discovery. We are still investigating, praying and meditating on what it all may mean and how it all fits. Suffice it to say for now, that we have found this underlying truth. The heavens manifested on a sundial-armillary do not lie. Online data provided by computer, math, calculations of men, with various agendas, from secular to traditions of men or the religious, do NOT MATCH THE SIGN OF THE YEAR’S TURN, AVIV 1 OR THE SIGN OF THE SHABBAT. We have reviewed this going back about 3 years, comparing what the heavens declare to what online data says.

    We are now in the process of recovering from this shock. Maybe we shouldn’t be shocked by all the deceptions out there but we still are numb. Most of us were led to believe in online data or calculated dates, not personally verified with trained and knowledgeable EYE WITNESSES, who know how to track the sun and read an armillary. We ALL have been lazy [myself included] forsaking our collective responsibilities as restored Yisrael, to do the HARD WORK of tracking Torah time ourselves; instead we farmed out and outsourced our responsibilities to be like Daniel, Abraham and others, who had to do the hard work. Therefore we have reaped the results of a people not in tune with their own responsibilities and have had little choice but to rely on others, hoping that they might be right.

    Jeremiah 6:16 speaks of returning to the ancient paths, where we will find or recover the good-mature ways of our Messiah, the patriarchs, prophets and Zadokite priests. Since that is true, we know they were experts at tracking the circuits of the sun, in order to determine and establish all the appointed times and weekly 7th day Shabbats, with a clear declaration of The Spring Equinox, Aviv 1 the FOLLOWING day and the 52 weekly Shabbats on days of the month THAT NEVER CHANGE.

    16 This says YHWH: Stand in the derech, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the tov derech, and have your walk in it, and you shall find rest for your beings. But they said, We will not walk in it.
    17 Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Listen to the sound of the shofar. But they said, We will not listen.     As we have been tracking the eye witness accounts caught on video of past years and in person, the dates provided by the US Naval Observatory and NASA [meaning to deceive], date and time websites, all declare March 20th for the next 50 years or so as The Spring Equinox. Yet visual evidence states otherwise! That shockingly, The Spring Equinox [& Aviv 1 the day following The Spring Equinox], takes place on Roman dates, that DO NOT ALWAYS LINE UP WITH MARCH 20TH for the next 50 years or so, as they claim and prognosticate.
    Perhaps more shockingly, we have found that the Roman dates do change but that using a 364 day year as commanded in Torah and Enoch, will ALWAYS RESULT IN THE SPRING EQUINOX, & THE FOLLOWING DAY AVIV 1 and the weekly 7th day Shabbat, ALWAYS FALLING ON THE SAME DAY OF THE ROMAN AND TORAH DAY OF THE WEEK! Impossible right? That’s what we thought also!

    It is for these reasons that we are suspending all declarations and proclamations of time [web links included], until we can VISUALLY verify for ourselves, year by year, starting this year, the actual dates of The Spring Equinox, The New Year Aviv 1 and the 7th day Shabbats, which will never change, using a 364 day only calendar as commanded, using the Zadokite framework and principles.

    We will use our eyes, the eyes of others around the globe, trained in tracking the visible sign of the Shabbat and others in our community, who will be invited and taught to obey Torah’s call, to physically and personally observe, without trusting in man, leaders or another man’s data. True watchmen, ready to call Israel to the appointed times of YHWH. For years it was beyond any of us to ever begin to question alleged noble agencies, that supposedly posted empirical online data; we simply assumed that with modern technology that they could not be wrong. Now we have discovered that they have lied, have no interest in what Torah or Enoch say and cannot be more wrong in their dates, which are not based on visual personal observation by the hungry & righteous, willing to become watchmen. VISUAL OBSERVATION & TRACKING confirmed by multiple ISRAELITE witnesses is the only true way to recover and restore time. We Israelites know how to track a PACKAGE but don’t know where to start to track the circuits of the sun and the year, which give us HIS rightly divided times. We are too modern, too lazy and too broke, as by and large we don’t tithe and can’t even afford an advanced sundial [but yet it seems like we can all magically afford an internet service provider and cell phone ): } We must return to this lost art and track these heavenly signs from year to year to year to year TAKING NOTHING FOR GRANTED AND ASSUMING NOTHING, before we declare our findings annually!

    We will reveal our findings WHEN WE AND OTHERS SO ASSIGNED VISUALLY SPOT THE YEAR’S TURN ON THEIR RESPECTIVE SUNDIALS. The following day after The Spring Equinox will be Aviv 1 and 3 days later the eternal unchanging 7th Day Shabbat from year to year, as long as we stick to the commanded 364 day per year calendar. We will keep you all posted. We are determined from now on, only to proclaim and declare what the heavens declare to all Israel with eyesight, regardless of where that truth leads us. The true solar month of Aviv and 7th Day Sabbath, must be visibly available to all Israel, whether or not the U.S. Naval Observatory, Date & Time.com or NASA exist. Of that we are sure!

    A biblical valid sign must be available to be seen to all Israel; all who believe and are WILLING, not merely for those with advanced data collection services, that often are opposed to anything of Torah and Messiah Yahushua!     Let’s have a conversation about time- What is it? How do we observe it?

    Elohim’s timekeeping has been lost and He is restoring it to His elect. Ha’satan is very sneaky, he does not want you to know that it is the first order of business in learning when to observe Elohim’s Holy periods. His reason is simple, if you do not know how to tell “Jah” time then you will miss the “appointed times” to meet with our CREATOR. And that Brother’s and Sister’s is the true Abomination that causes Desolation!

    Throughout biblical times the various nations had different reckonings for Time. Although the Babylonians, with whose astronomy the Greeks became to some extent acquainted, divided day and night into twelve periods (called double hours) the Greeks made little use of the measurement for any but purely scientific calculations until Hellenist times. Ordinarily, in classical times they did not speak of hour but of ‘cock-crow’, ‘time of full market’ (mid-morning), ‘noon’, ‘lamp lighting’, ‘time of first sleep’ and the like.

    When hours were used, they were not of fixed length, but each 1/24 of the day and night, CONSEQUENTLY VARIED WITH THE SEASON.

    Our hour is the.. hora aequinoctialis, 1/12 of the day or night at the equinox. In other words- what we would call an hour is reckoned at the equinox when TIME- Light is equal. Besides the natural reckoning of the day from dawn, it was common in Greece to reckon it officially, for calendar purposes, from sunset to sunset; the Romans reckoned from midnight.” –The Oxford Classic Dictionary.     Basically what the Oxford dictionary is telling us is that the “Hour” varied in length depending on the season and length of light. From sunrise to sunset was always 12 parts (called hours) regardless of the length of daylight.

    John 11:9 Ha’Mashiach answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day (hēmera- the time space between dawn and dark, or also the whole 24 hours) he does not stumble because he sees the light of the world.

    John 11:10 But if anyone walks in the night (nux- A primary word; “night” (literally or figuratively): – (mid-) night.), he stumbles because there is no light in him.

    There are only two times in the year in which there are twelve hours of day or equal PARTS OF LIGHT- first at the vernal equinox in the spring- this is where Elohim wants us to begin our year count as ha’Mashiach confirms this is where Pesach resides- this feast is the time of the Bride selection in the Constellation of Dagim/Pisces (the Fishes)

    The other 12 hours of day are at the autumn equinox in the Constellation of Bethulah/Virgo (the Mother of All), where Sukkoth resides- the feast where the Bridegroom returns for the wedding ceremony. These are two important pilgrim feasts in which we are required to travel to where Elohim commands, the place where He has placed His name.

    Without artificial light, humans of this time period regarded sunlit and dark periods as two opposing realms rather than as part of the same day. Without the aid of sundials, dividing the dark interval between sunset and sunrise was more complex than dividing the sunlit period. During the era when sundials were first used, however, Egyptian astronomers also first observed a set of 36 stars that divided the circle of the heavens into equal parts. (The Mazzaroth)

    The passage of night could be marked by the appearance of 18 of these stars, three of which were assigned to each of the two twilight periods when the stars were difficult to view. The period of total darkness was marked by the remaining 12 stars, again resulting in 12 divisions of night.

    During the New Kingdom (1550 to 1070 B.C.), this measuring system was simplified to use a set of 24 stars, 12 of which marked the passage of the night. The clepsydra, or water clock, was also used to record time during the night, and was perhaps the most accurate timekeeping device of the ancient world. The timepiece–a specimen of which, found at the Temple of Ammon in Karnak, dated back to 1400 B.C.–was a vessel with slanted interior surfaces to allow for decreasing water pressure, inscribed with scales that marked the division of the night into 12 parts DURING VARIOUS MONTHS.- so again the 12 parts had to be in varying lengths depending on the season.

    Once both the light and dark hours were divided into 12 parts, the concept of a 24-hour day was in place. The concept of fixed-length hours, however, did not originate until the Hellenistic period, when Greek astronomers began using such a system for their theoretical calculations.

    Hipparchus, whose work primarily took place between 147 and 127 B.C., proposed dividing the day into 24 equinoctial hours, based on the 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness observed on equinox days. Despite this suggestion, laypeople continued to use seasonally varying hours for many centuries. (Hours of fixed length became commonplace only after mechanical clocks first appeared in Europe during the 14th century.)

    We need to stop looking at the day in Babylonian terms and an hour being 60 minutes…. Enoch tells us that there are 18 PARTS to the day and at the equinoxes there are 9 PARTS of daylight and 9 PARTS of darkness. Scripture tells us that the day starts at sunrise, so from sunrise to sunrise is 18 PARTS. I think taking the word “HOUR” out of our vocabulary would help us to wrap our brains around this division of TIME.

Clock displays divided the hour into halves, thirds, quarters and sometimes even 12 parts, but never by 60. In fact, the hour was not commonly understood to be the duration of 60 minutes. I have just been trying to explain to some people about how time is divided or allocated.
    A day has 1440 minutes. Currently we divide this into 24 hours of 60 minutes each (although according to the world a day isnt exactly 24 hours!).
    So 60 x 24 = 1440.
    According to the division of day and night in Enoch. A complete day from sunrise to sunrise is 18 parts. That would mean each “hour” would be 80mins.
    80 x 18 = 1440.
    I actually tested this the other day. It was in the 11th month when I tested it so it should have been 8 parts day and 10 parts night, but because I’m in the Southern Hemisphere (so have the opposite season to the Northern where Enoch was recorded from) this would be 10 parts day 8 parts night. I counted from sunrise to sunset in blocks of 80 mins then from sunset to the following sunrise in blocks of 80 mins and guess what? There was 10 parts day and 8 parts night, exactly what Enoch said!

    Introduction
    This paper reveals the simple ancient methodology by which the astronomical equinoxes and the solstices can be both directly and practically observed by the naked eye, to precisely the very day on which they occur, no matter where one is residing on the globe(i.e. at whatever one’s latitude north or south of the equator), excluding the direct North and South poles.

    According to Rabbinic’s and Karaites, the equinox is defined as the time of equal day and equal night hours and that cannot be objectively “observed”. Furthermore they argue that the ancient Israelites had no ability or technical knowledge to be able to accurately identify the day of the equinox. In addition they argue the equinox has only been identifiable through modern astronomy science. Consequently they argue that the equinox therefore cannot be used as the accurate anchors of the biblical calendar.

    The commentary is worth a read to understand how Judah has mystified the significance of the equinox as a significant pinpoint measure of the biblical calendar of Moses.

    Interestingly, some Messianic sites, in their wisdom, similarly proclaim that the equinox was simply too complex for the ancients to be able to precisely identify and observe the day of the equinox and that understanding the word “tekufa” as referring to the equinox and the astronomical sun is an anachronism – see http://www.sightedmoon.com/?page_id=125 .

    So just what constitutes the Equinox And What Is The Equilux?
    Firstly we need to understand that the astronomical equinox does not necessarily equate to the common use of the definition of the equinox being the equality of daylight and night hours. We need to understand that there is a difference between what is defined as the equinox as an accurate astronomical position of the sun, as opposed to the “equilux”.

    When the term equinox is used to indicate the period of equal day and night hours it is by broad association of the definition, but unless one is living on the equator, it is not the astronomical point of the equinox as determined by the precise position of the sun as it marks a change of the seasons.

    The Equinox Defined

    The difficulty with the “equilux” is that it is a virtual impossibility to identify a day of the equilux occurring across the globe since its measurement is highly influenced by one’s latitude position in relation to the equator on the globe, and the refraction of light by the earth’s sphere and atmospheric conditions.

    “Over the course of the year the Sun, as seen from Earth, appears to make one complete circuit around the ecliptic, as the Earth in fact orbits the Sun. And so on two days each year the Sun’s path crosses the equator. This means a number of things:

    1. that an observer at the equator will see the Sun directly overhead at mid-day on the equinoxes
    2. that the Sun will rise due east and set due west on the equinoxes (on all other days the Sun will rise either north or south of east, and set north or south of west)
    3. the length of day and night are nearly equal

    On this last point, they are not exactly equal, for two reasons:

    1. the Sun appears as a disk in the sky with a radius of around 16 arcminutes, and so the top of the Sun appears to rise while the centre of the disk is still below the horizon, and the instant of the equinox is measured with respect to the Sun’s centre, and
    2. the Sun’s light is bent, or refracted, in the Earth’s atmosphere, so that rays from the Sun can light you up even before the Sun rises, and keep you lit after it sets, with the degree of refraction being around 34 arcminutes

    These two factors combine to mean that the Sun will appear to have “risen” when the centre of the disk is still 50 arcminutes (16 + 34) below the horizon, making the amount of daylight longer than the expected 12 hours. How much longer depends on where on Earth you are, but in the UK the length of the day is approx. 12 hours 10 minutes, rather than exactly 12 hours.

    The Equilux Defined
    Because of this effect, the days on which the length of day and night are exactly equal, called the equilux, occur a few days before the spring equinox and a few days after the autumn equinox. This date will vary depending on where on Earth you are, and indeed equiluxes do not occur at all close to the equator, whereas the equinox is a fixed instant in time.

    Thus when Judah’s mystics define the equinox in their broad terms of the equal day / night hours – which by scientific quality is properly termed the “equilux” – which is relative according to one’s latitude across the globe, then they are indeed correct in saying this point is not readily measurable and identifiable as one specific day or point in time across the globe. This is because the measurement of the equilux is highly dependant on one’s position (latitude) on the globe.

    However, in contrast to the “equilux”, the actual physical earth day of the astronomical equinox can indeed be readily identified, regardless of the latitude one is positioned at across the globe. The fact that it is so readily identifiable identify reveals that the contemporary argument that it was an impossiblity for the ancient Israelites to have had the knowledge or technology to be able to make this identification, (and thus they argue it is to be regarded as an anachronism in regard to the theology of the biblical calendar), rather indicates the complete arrogance and ignorance of modern scholars of religion, rather than the historical ignorance of the ancients. This is just another indication of the complete opblivion of the ancient memory in regard to the “ancuient paths” of biblical truth!

    Indeed, the Hebrew word “Tekufa” – referring to the “circuit of the sun” is accurately pointing to a definition of a precise astronomical point in time where the sun in its solar circuit is positioned in relation to crossing the earths’ equator, or in real physics it marks the point at which the earth in its orbit around the sun changes from one agricualrutal season of winter to spring and summer to autumn, rather than the definitions the religious would have many believe as meaning a time of equal day and night hours. (Which by the way is the precise meaning of the Roman term “equinox”). So it is interesting that the religious employ a traditionally Roman definition of the term rather than a biblical or physical truth definition for the astronomical point of the sun crossing the equator, marking the physical changes in the seasons.

    Furthermore, as mentioned previously, messiniac Karaites argue that the word “Tekufa” (meaning the “circuit of the sun”” in supposedly rather refering to equal day and equal night as an anachronism, completely ignorance of ancient archeological instrumanets that can be held in the hand and which the ancients readily identified the equinoxes so that they would be abel to plant and reap on time. Arguing that the ancients never had any such abilities to understand the precise astronomical “circuit” of the sun, also demontsrates just how ignornat modern religion has become of the study of astronomy today. Below it is practically demonstrated below just how simple a feat it is to accurately identify the precise day of the equinox (as opposed to the equilux) regardless of whatever latitude one is located at across the globe.

    For example, the following shadow plot shows the difference in the related shadow plot lines between the equinox and the solstice plots by Dr.Vyacheslav Khavrus, situated for the latitude in Dresden Germany.     Thus to observationally identify the precise day of the equinox, one simply needs to plot the shadow curve of the sun on the hour over a few days around the expected equinox event, and when a straight line appears the very day is identified. When the horizontal sundial is positioned correctly (pointing geographical north and not magnetic north) the shadow plot of the day of the equinox presents itself as a straight line as opposed to a curve, regardless of one’s latitude on the globe.

    When a straight line is identified on a day around the 19th to 21st March, then creation is heralding to us that the beginning of the new biblical year has arrived. When the straight line appears on a day around the 21st to 22nd September, creation is heralding to us that Month 7 of the biblical calendar has arrived. Even should a polar shift occur, the identification of the straight lines will herald the beginning of the 1st and 7th months. From there the counting of days as per Leviticus 23 identifies the specific appointed times.

    Now understanding just how simple it is to be able to identify the exact day of the equinox no matter where one is positioned across the globe, we can now understand how all the ancients peoples would even have had small portable sundials that they could carry, which accurately and precisely identified the equinox. If the Egyptians had this understanding, how is it that religion would have us believe that the ancient Israelites would have been too ignorant or incapable to be able to precisely observe and identify this phenomenal astronomical event? We need to remember also that awareness of the equinox was also matter of a nations’ very survival and economic well being since it gave precise indications of the agricultural calendar and the changes in the seasons and the times for preparing for sowing and reaping.

    The article shows how a line marking the exact latitude of the city of Tanis also exists on the portable “equinox meter”. How confusing it must be to the conemptoary religious scholars that the ancients could hold small equinox “meters” in the palms of their hands, as well as knowing the actual global latitudes. Perhjaps it is because western man went through a long dark age under the nicolaitanism of man-made religious traditions and doctirnes so dark that they forced the world to believe that the world was flat in the 1200’s CE!

    Such is the nature of the prison houses of men’s religion as opoosed to biblical truth!

    The Conclusion Of The Matter
    In prophetic time, the “wilderness place” now approaches us. What if one has no access to computers, and one is faced with the wilderness place with no communication with others, and one needs to identify and keep the biblical calendar’s appointed times – how will one be able to identify the beginning of the year from the new moon, when which new moon defines the beginning of the biblical year or whether there is an intercalated 13th month? No – creation gives us its own independent and reliable testimony of when the 1st day of the biblical year can be known. It also testifies when the 1st day of the 7th month can also be known.

    Using a very simple methodology one can practially observe and precisely identify the exact day of the Vernal and Autumnal equinoxes with one’s own eyes!

    Religious theologians argue that using the equinox is not acceptable and must be ignored, because 1) the ancient peoples simply didn’t have the ability or technology to do this and 2) because they claim that the days of the equinoxes are not practically observable for reasons that they confusingly define the equinox as the equilux… however creation around us – the heavens and the earth – the plants, the birds and the weather – testify quite a different message for those who have some wisdom and understanding to be able to watch and observe!

    YHVH states the heavens declare the glory of YHVH and the whole of creation on the earth below knows this, demonstrates this and responds to the perfect points of the “circuit of the sun” (the “tekufa”) in its equinoxes which mark the precise turning of the seasons. As these points precisely indicate the exact beginning of the 1st month and the beginning of the 7th month of the astronomical year on the earth, what then is creation perpetually witnessing to us concerning the wisdom and the exegetical religious gymnastics of men? Creation seems to be telling us that when men are motivated to re-define the biblical calendar which is intimately linked to creation, however sincerely they may describe their attempt, the result is but to impose a dark age.
